Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes - if you can send a few photos and a description, I can often give you a fixed price by phone or email. The more information you can provide, the better.

Do you offer home visits?

Absolutely. If I need to see the job in person, we’ll agree a date and time that suits you. There’s no obligation and no pressure.

Do you charge VAT?

No. I’m not VAT registered, so my prices are more competitive.

How quickly will you respond to enquiries?

I aim to respond to all calls, messages and emails within 24 hours (usually much faster).

Do you ask for payment upfront?

Never for labour -  you only pay once the job is completed and you’re happy.  If materials are required, I may ask you to source them directly, or we can agree a cost in advance for me to pick them up on your behalf.

A bit of preparation goes a long way! If you can clear the working area in advance, that’s a big help. Let me know of any access issues (like parking or pets) and feel free to mention anything you’re unsure about. I’m always happy to talk things through before the day.

Clear, well-lit photos from a few angles are best. Include any measurements if you can and if relevant, and try to show the full context of the job, not just the close-up. If you’re unsure what to send, just ask and I’ll guide you.
